Adventures in Gardening with Brother Gerald
This morning we are helping Elvira get her garden started by tilling up the soil and raking the grass and roots out.
Then we’ll doctor up the soil with some good nutrients for the soil. I have lots of lime, potash, calcium nitrate and organic chicken fertilizer plus some local manure and compost and a bunch of mulch to mix in with the soil and some gypsum too.
They should be ready to plant by first of Spring.
